Yvonnda Ford joined True Estate Planning in September 2025 as an Estate Planning Attorney serving clients in Missouri. As a legacy planner, Yvonnda strives to simplify the planning process and prioritizes her client’s needs to ensure a positive experience. She acts as a compassionate advisor helping families organize their wills, trusts, and other legal documents to ensure their intentions are honored and their beneficiaries are prepared. This helps to ensure that the family’s values and wishes are preserved for future generations.

Yvonnda has over ten (10) years of healthcare compliance leadership experience where she provided regulatory guidance regarding system and health plan operations. She worked as a Chief Compliance Officer for a rural hospital as well as a manager of Ethics and Compliance for a managed care corporation. Additionally, she worked as the Director of Graduate Healthcare Administration – Accelerated Degree Program for seven (7) years at Lindenwood University.

Yvonnda holds a Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University, a Master’s in Health Care Administration as well as Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from Saint Louis University. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Estate Planning and Probate Administrative Law Committee and the Health & Hospital Administration Law Committee. Yvonnda is also a board member for the Association on Aging with Developmental Disabilities (AADD) which supports and serves aging adults with developmental disabilities. Outside of work she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) as an advocate for children in the foster care or juvenile justice systems, ensuring their best interests are met. She serves on the board of the not for profit, Imagine with a Mission (IWAM), which serves the families of North St. Louis communities.

Currently, Yvonnda is an adjunct instructor at Missouri Baptist University where she teaches Legal and Ethical Environment of Business Ethics as well as the Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare courses. In her free time, she enjoys music, food, family, and volunteering for project-based mission trips in Africa.
